The purpose of this session is to build neuromuscular strength, speed and endurance. Racing over sprint to standard distance Time Trials is the best way to pick up your race pace and power. This session is specifically aimed at Standard distance triathlon and Duathlon hopefuls.
This event will include a 40km (over 18yrs) and 16km (over 13yrs) Cycling Time trial, cyclist will be set off in order of speed (slowest first) in 1 min intervals. This session will be Marshalled but will be on open roads, so all participants should be careful in this training race. The race will be preceded with a short 5km warm up so please ready with your bike to warm up at 5pm.
